Mahendran Reddy

Mahendran Reddy is an architect turned designer with incredible insights into how 3D printing and new technologies will build a future that promises to be vastly different. Before NAMIC, he was instrumental in driving the adoption of 3D printing at a MNC as head of its Southeast Asia consumer division. Today, 3D technology has been adopted by many industries from Aerospace to marine, manufacturing, healthcare and lifestyle among others. Mahendran oversees the development and adoption of 3D printing in the building and construction (BC) industry; and also seeds its adoption through collaborative research projects between BC and institutes of higher learning. He has been credited for his initiatives in the civil service and the Design Singapore Council by setting up the National Design Centre in 2014.
